Welcome to the BAD Cafe. In order to listen to Planet Radio or view the video programming, you will need Real
Player. Newer versions of Netscape come with Real built in, but if you are running
IE, AOL, or another browser, you will have to download and install Real player,
which is now called "Real One". The player is free, but (of course), you have to hunt
for the fine print to find the free version. On the current home page of Real:
http://www.real.com/ you can find the free version in the middle of the page in blue
type! The BAD Cafe may expand to Windows Media Player in the future as well,
but for now we are using only Real.
To get started, just enter the area you want to watch or listen to by clicking on the extra large red button. Once you enter an area or program, to listen or watch, just click the button where it says "listen or watch"...not too techie!
You will notice that there are chat rooms in each area. If there is a live show in progress, you can enter the chat room while you are watching or listening; and IM with someone in the studio; make a comment or request.
Also during live programs, you can view a live cam snapshot "behind the scenes" to see what the BAD Cafe production crew is up to in the control room.
The BAD Cafe was created and produced
